Goodbye Raja
A few days ago we sadly had to let Raja go over the rainbow bridge 🌈
She had some neurological problems, causing her to fall of platforms or preventing her from climbing a ladder. She also wasn't able to empty her cheeks and had difficulties climbing inside her wheel. We supported her with some meds, but a few days ago she didn't leave her nest and when my wife looked after her, Raja let herself getting picked up without any resistance, that's when we knew her time had come to an end. I'm so sorry I couldn't be with Raja and my wife when they went to the vet, as I was staying at the hospital (had surgery on my nose the day before), but I'm thankful my wife stopped at the hospital so I could say goodbye to little Raja...
We only had her for little more than a year, she only was 1 and a half years old, but fought the neurological problems for about half a year. She was always curious when and wanted our attention (and snacks) when we were infront of her enclosure. She liked to play with my hand and cuddled, but wouldn't stay on my hand no matter the bribe. I'm gonna miss you little ball of fluff...
