Am i doing this right?

So i expended my oil setup, now i have a distillation tower, chemical reactor, and from there i steam crack naphtha and distill it again. and mix the light and heavy fuel into diesel and just store the refined gas
But i see benzene giving me other products? Should i switch the another setup? Or has this kind of setup worked out for you guys as well? I don’t want to build infrastructure that won’t give me enough byproducts

Nether portal glitch?

For some reason every time i go back to the overworld from the nether it spawns me in the ground always the same location but on different height levels. sometimes i have to dig up twenty blocks, sometimes two
Very rarely it let’s me spawn safely just above ground and not suffocating
I find that the longer it takes to load the closer to the portal i spawn
Is this a gtnh issue or a Minecraft one? And can i resolve this?
Never broken this portal. It’s my first portal and always been the original

Cetane boosted diesel, Help!

So I’m making the first step’s towards a rocket and i started by building a distillation tower. But there’s a lot i still need to do. Like for example make setup’s containing, Cetane boosted diesel, toluene, PTFE
And while i was looking for how to create my setup for CBD, i saw there is a route that’s very easy which is mixing just diesel and light fuel. After desulferising it
But then i also saw the way of getting heavy fuel and many other byproducts like ethylene from distilling steam cracked fuel. So now I’m wondering is it worth it to invest a lot into making a complicating setup where i do the steam cracking route? Or am i just getting a bunch of by products that i won’t need to use anyway for a longgggg time. So it be better to use the direct route if distilling, desulferrising and then mixing it? And is it worth it to invest in large chemical reactors for this or will i still be fine with just simple single block reactors and mixers etc

Future proof but investing in something i won’t need for a long time? The thing is i have no idea if i will need it that future proof? I’m in early Hv btw

Help me!

My mother always told me that when i was very little i used to have the biggest white blond curls, after some time it disappeared so for all my life i have known myself as someone with “straight” hair. Or at least I thought so
I now realise i have curly hair or at least semi wavy (do i have curls?)
But i have no idea what to do with it. How to style it, cut it, dry it… everything

I’m now letting it grow out in the hope that once it’s longer my curls will be more defined (will it)?
What should I tell my barber?

How should i dry it? Should i use different products?
I tried the TikTok diffusing but i don’t seem to do it right or it just does not work for me

Please think of me as an idiot since i am in this and explain it as you would to a 5 year old

First two pics is how it looks after i style it
Second two is after i wake up
And the 5th is after the gym

I want to get more defined big curls and now have a lot of individual hairs. But is this unrealistic to want with my hair?
I like the way it is after i wake up, but it’s also looks like it exploded…

I’m looking for something that makes it more natural, a routine that makes it possible for me to run my hands through it without getting it out of model

Thank’s in advance for the help!

Current routine.

  1. I use the Curly fix shampoo and conditioner from a house brand of the Etos store (curly girl)
i will include a picture of the products

  2. I also use a a product called, leave in curl smoothie, power curls from a house brand of the kruidvat store

  3. I dry my hair by putting a towel on it. And pressing it onto my hair and not moving it. Just for a few seconds
I run my hand through it and shake it a bit and then leave it to air dry for a few minutes after which i apply the curl smoothie

  4. I don’t use any pillow cases or anything else

Reduced lag

Just wanted to share this and hope it helps some of you
(If this is common knowledge, just ignore me. Sorry)
I switched from curse forge to prism launcher
Which made my Gtnh run on Java 21 instead of 8 i think
It reduced some much lag for me, runs way smoother now
So definitely make the switch if you have not

Bees or Ore berries?

I want to get into bees, but have been seeing ore berries aswell
If I’m getting into bees can i just skip the berries? I feel like bees got everything already? What’s the main advantage one’s got over the other?

My base

Decided to expand my base a bit over the weekend
I wanted some kind of base in the mountain and went with some kind Lotr Moria inspired theme
Would 100% recommend
It’s so easy to expand, need more room? Just create a new hall than can lead to even more halls and no need to worry about the exterior, It’s a mountain haha
Curious to what you guys think

Aluminium

Can someone help me
I have proceeded several stacks of cryolite only to get a few aluminium. Now i have made 26 stacks of bricks after mining terracotta
And if my calculations are right
I’m getting around 48 aluminium once I’m done with it
Is there a better way?
Am i missing something or is this just typical gregtech?

I’m planning on smelting my first aluminium in the EBF.
But before that i want a good power source for it
I was thinking light oil with the combustion generators
What do you guys think?
