Recently found the leftovers of my childhood collection and "rehoused" them!

I used to have a huge folder that I shared with my brother that included many old shinies, gold stars and more. He was scammed for the entire collection a couple of years ago. Recently, while helping him move, we found two boxes of cards that was left out of the trade gone bad. He gave me them back as a token apology. So, I just rehoused them in no particular order here!

I love these cards which also include several that I got from pack given to me by my now dead grandmother.

Rapport: Mange norske jøder skjuler sin identitet

Antisemittismen øker i Norge, og det fører til at mange jøder skjuler identiteten sin, ifølge en fersk rapport

– Vi var kjent med at antisemittismen i Norge har blitt sterkere i tiden etter 7. oktober 2023. Nå har vi fått dokumentert hvordan jødene selv opplever situasjonen. Det er viktig kunnskap for oss, sier kommunal- og distriktsminister Bjørnar Skjæran (Ap) i en pressemelding.

Det er Senter for studier av holocaust og livssynsminoriteter som står bak rapporten «Jødisk liv og antisemittisme i Norge». Den er en oppfølging av regjeringens handlingsplan mot antisemittisme.

I rapporten kommer det fram at mange jøder skjuler sin identitet. Dermed blir en allerede svært liten norsk minoritet enda mindre synlig.

– Et gjennomgående funn er at mange opplever en tydelig forskyvning i hva som anses som sosialt akseptabelt å si og mene om jøder. Flere beskriver dette som en normalisering av jødefiendtlige holdninger, heter det i rapporten.

Jødiske skolebarn er spesielt sårbare, og foreldre forteller at barna opplever ulike former for ekskludering i klasserom og i skolegården.

Det bekymrer Skjæran.

– Vi har alle ansvar å motvirke antisemittisme. Dette er et samfunnsansvar, sier han.
