Has anyone dealt with this before? I mailed my 2025 paper tax return through my university mailroom on April 8, and it’s now been over 7 weeks. The IRS “Where’s My Refund” tool still says “We don’t have a record of your return on file for tax year 2025.”

I’m starting to worry that maybe the mailroom never actually sent it or it got lost. I mailed it through my school mailroom, so I don’t have tracking.

At this point, should I:

• keep waiting?
• call the school mailroom to see if they have mailing records?
• re-mail / re-submit my return?

Has anyone had the IRS site show nothing for this long and then eventually update?
