Moving tomaotes outdoors

I'm in Northumberland so normally I start my tomatoes indoors, plant them out at the end of April when they are about 12 inches tall. This Spring(?) we haven't had any temperature above 15C for weeks, overnight it is around 3-4C, sometimes we still have frosts. During the day it has been 7C this past week or two with a biting wind

Meanwhile the tomatoes are now 3 feet tall and showing tomatoes! I fear they will never go out. This Spring has simply not happened. The days are longer but it is freezing and wet.

Next year I may just buy them from the supermarket. Pah !

I'm trying Turmeric instead of prescription drugs

M63, UK , was diagnosed with PSA 20+ years ago. It seems to be worse in the past year or two.

Had enough of taking stuff that still leaves me aching and fatigued so I went for one of the many Turmeric tablets. I stress that I'm no medic and are taking thes purely to try something different. The vibe seems to be that after 4-8 weeks you should have less inflammation. Well, after 3 I realised that my knees don't hurt when I stand up. They are still stiff at first but I'm moving better.

I don't meant to break the subreddit rules, I'm just stating what I have found. Sorry mods. I am not seeking monetary gain, I am a sample of one, I don't have supporting research nor am I giving advice.

We're all in the same boat. I hope you find something that helps you
