Incredible show. Weather ended up being perfect. Zach absolutely killed it start to finish. Loved Lodi When & Dog Days, the new EP is gonna go platinum in my car. Quittin’ Time was crazy good live. So lucky.
One of the many reasons I’m CF is I have a lot of anxiety about medical stuff. I work in healthcare and even used to work at at pediatric hospital. I‘ve seen the worst of the worst.
Over the last few weeks, I’ve had several conversations with my mom and older sister about this.
My cousin’s baby was just born weighing 4 lbs and will be profoundly disabled her whole life (might never walk, feeding issues, likely blind.) Another friend of mine hemorrhaged while giving birth, lost 1/3 of her blood, and had to have a total hysterectomy to save her life (we’re 28 btw.)
Both my sister and my mom downplayed the fuck out of these extremely scary and harrowing stories. ”It’s so rare” “She’s such a cutie though” “They have so much support”
Its astounding to me that anyone can be so blasé about it and try to convince women to ignore the risks associated with childbirth or the possibility of a disabled child.
How lucky are we?
I’m headed to Eindhoven next week for my first ZB show and was thinking of bringing a handmade poster/sign.
I just watched a clip from Berlin (looked amazing btw!) and noticed no signs.
Is it not allowed? Just not really done at ZB concerts? If you already went to a show this tour, did people bring signs?

Tale as old as time… It‘s getting warmer. I break out my sandals & cute wedge heels for the first time in months. Put them on. Look at my feet…
The thick calluses (and I mean THICK.) Chipped nail polish. Scars. I even have a few odd nails from when old ones turned purple & fell off and they’ve grown back with a wierd consistency. Sort of a half-nail..? Lol
For the past 5+ years, I’ve been high volume runner (50 mpw) and I’ve accepted that my feet are going to look a certain way, but is there any hope of making them a little more presentable this summer?
After watching my sister name her daughter something she regrets, I’m super worried about baby name regret...
Husband and I have a short list, and we’re waiting until baby girl arrives to pick.
Thoughts on our short list? Any other suggestions?
