Rather than rehash the theories, I'm trying to connect with the folks who did the original legwork (roughly 2016–2019): the ones who archived the early comments, mapped the poster's search-term behavior, or said they'd identified the author. Hi North Carolina — I'm working on a project about Kutchie's, the steak/Key West spot that ran at 2188 Hendersonville Rd from the late '70s until the mid-2000s, and its owners Oswald "Kutchie" and Anita Pelaez. I'm interested in the real place and the people, not the internet weirdness.

If you worked there, ate there, or knew the family, I'd genuinely love to hear a memory or two — the food, the regulars, the staff, what made it "the place to be." Happy to keep anything anonymous, and no pressure at all.
