MacBook automatically resumes video playback after waking from sleep — how to fix permanently?
Whenever I close my MacBook and open it again, any video that was playing or paused before I closed the lid automatically starts playing again — even if the window isn't visible. This happens across all apps, not just one specific app (Prime Video, Brave browser, local video files, everything).
I'm looking for a permanent fix that doesn't require me to:
- Quit apps before closing the lid
- Pause videos manually before sleeping
- Run any commands every time
