She's Fit vs Community Centre

Hello, to anyone who has an idea on both She's Fit and Fitness Centre in Vancouver Community Centres, may you please share your experience?

Initially i thought city community centres will have cheaper passes than private gym membership. But turns out, Community Centre Fitness Centres are like ~$20ish/bi whereas She's Fit is ~$15or$19/bi only.

Both have additional perks respectively, but I am only after for the gym access/experience itself.

I have gone to community centre once in Trout Lake, and its not actually bad.

Looking for more insights before I commit to a membership between the two. Thank you!.

The Little Bra Company Sizing Guide

Hello, i want to buy my first bra in The Little Bra Company.

Per A Bra That Fits Calculator, i am 26C/D. But TLBC says i am 28C. I heard their band and cup go small, is this correct? Should i go with 28C? Or 30B?

Thank you.

Hello, I have been been carrying a heavy weight in my heart for over a year now because of a co-worker who did me wrong, and never gave me an explanation why she did that. I want to heal from this.

During the first year that i sensed something was off, i brushed it off telling myself that maybe she was just on her period, or busy, or what, i was hurt but the heart of understanding prevailed in me. But it went on for several weeks, and that's when I asked why her behavior towards me changed (doesnt talk to me, acting disgusted with me when i am near, or becoming spiteful when I talk to her, etc). yet she gave me a short, one simple sentence NON-answer.

She went on with that behavior for almost a year. And i respected that, and continued to be civil, no overwhelming feelings. However, it changed. Although I dont want to assume anything, the timing just doesnt sit well with me, her sudden change of behavior towards me (where she suddenly changed 180-degree as if nothing happened; from avoidance to gushy behavior) was 1-2 weeks before her annual review.

After maybe a month of that realization, I felt used and played around with, so i decided to continue to stay away from her. This went on for another year or so.

Based on my previous knowledge which she also did that to 2 of our other colleagues prior to me, and hearing from our external connections about her broken relationships with other people, I dont think she was sincere with reconnecting. I also did not attempt to ask her again, fearing that i will be disrespected by giving me another Non-answer. Knowing also that history, i can assume that she is used to this kind of situations.

reason why I am sharing this is because I want to ask, how to I move forward. I know timeline differs for each person, but I also do not want to wait for another year or two or even more just to heal from this.

I feel like for a year I was mostly in Denial stage, and for another year until now, I am mostly in the Anger stage. I was also in the bargaining stage during those times, and cried countless nights. I know when this has taken a toll on me, when my body weakens and gets various types of illness/disease.

FYI, this is the first time i have felt this much hurt towards a person in over 2 decades. the last one was during adolescence. So, I want to know how to move forward, cuz i do not want to keep on hating somebody forever. FYI also this person already quit for like a month now.

thank you.

Is there actually a corporate in Vancouver where theres an actual work life balance culture?

The company i work at is not really saying we should work beyond our official work hours, but their culture (everyone does it) says you should work longer hours to keep up with your workload.

I also have a friend who works in engineering, and works during her weekend. I know some people who seem to be enjoying their rest days but are in reception duties or retail, which makes sense.

I know at the end of the day, it’s your own individual choice, but work culture doesn’t allow you to even have the choice.

From, someone who is tired of thinking about work during rest days.
