Haven’t tested extensively but it seems even with child lock on if the kids press door multiple times they open still ? Not sure if this is supposed to happen. I have pressed ignore on screen but they seem to open still. Perhaps only when parked or some logic ?
Hi, seeking some advice. Purchased a discovery 5 in 2021 with 20k on it, is a 2017 model. Have had a host of issues such as intake manifold and gear module failures. Has only been serviced via Brisbane city JLR and has approx 90k on it now. Over Labour Day weekend decided to place itself in limp mode and diagnosis via pacific JLR is low compression on some cylinders and have advised new engine required.
Under good will they’ve said they’ll cover 22 of the 31 for the new engine however I’m still out of pocket 8.5 on top of the 11 or so I’ve had to spend last 12 months on the other failures.
What are the options here? it’s low kms for an engine failure and not a cheap car. There are some on car sales I can see that have also had new engines put in but could be completely unrelated. QCAT option seems long and slow and unsure I’d get an outcome. Likely could only sell for 30-35 if it didn’t have any issues.
Anyone had any similar experiences or advice?
