I'm trying to decide between the Anker 737 and an Anker Nano power bank.

I mainly want something easy to carry in a small shoulder bag or backpack for everyday use, travel, beach days, etc. I occasionally end up charging 2–3 phones (mine plus friends'), but I don't need mainly laptop charging (only tablet but rarely).

I prefer something lighter and cheaper if possible, but I also don't want to regret getting too little capacity. Is the 737 worth the extra size, weight, and cost, or is the Nano the better choice for this kind of use?

Which one would you pick and why?

Hey everyone, I’m trying to figure out which power bank makes the most sense and I keep going in circles. I currently use an iPhone 13, but I’ll probably switch to a USB-C phone soon. I also have a Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra and I often end up charging different stuff at the same time, sometimes even sharing with friends when we’re out (beach, trips, long days outside, etc.).
What I’m looking for is something portable but still strong enough to give me around 3 full phone charges, support fast charging (ideally USB-C PD with PPS), and not overheat too much in summer conditions. I can’t decide if I should go for a compact 10,000 mAh model, a middle ground 15,000 mAh, or just accept the size and get a 20,000 mAh for more flexibility. I don’t want something huge, but I also don’t want to constantly worry about running out of battery halfway through the day... and I would like a durable powerbank, to use the next years!

Would love to hear what people actually use in real life, not just specs on paper.

Hi everyone,
I swam as a kid (nothing competitive, just basic level), and I can still manage to swim a few laps and stay afloat. However, I’ve realized my technique isn’t very good: I struggle to float efficiently without a lot of effort, my breathing isn’t consistent, etc... I want to seriously improve, but I’m not sure what’s best: should I go back to group swimming lessons, or try to train on my own using videos and practice? Or try with a couple of private lessons and after train alone?
Has anyone been in a similar situation?

premeto che sono interessato ad entrare in Polizia di Stato e sto cercando di informarmi il più possibile prima di fare certe scelte.. C'è però una cosa che faccio fatica a capire. Da quello che vedo in giro, almeno all'inizio, gli stipendi non mi sembrano altissimi. Magari sbaglio io, ma mi pare che si stia più o meno sui 1500-1700 euro, poi ovviamente dipende da vari fattori, indennità, straordinari ecc.

La mia domanda è questa: come si fa concretamente a vivere con uno stipendio del genere oggi?

Non lo chiedo in modo polemico o per criticare il lavoro, che anzi rispetto molto. È una curiosità vera. Perché guardando il costo della vita attuale, affitti, bollette, macchina, spesa e tutto il resto, mi sembra che in molte città 1800 euro siano davvero pochi.. Non parlo del rinunciare a qualche uscita o alla pizza del weekend. Intendo proprio riuscire a costruirsi una vita senza stare sempre a fare i conti a fine mese. Magari andare a vivere da soli, mettere qualcosa da parte, pensare a una famiglia, affrontare imprevisti ecc.

Forse mi sfugge qualcosa. Molti hanno la casa di proprietà? Ci sono indennità che fanno salire parecchio lo stipendio reale? Oppure semplicemente ci si abitua ad uno stile di vita più contenuto?

Mi colpisce soprattutto il confronto con alcune carriere nel privato, dove almeno sulla carta gli stipendi possono crescere molto più velocemente, mentre in Polizia ci sono anche turni pesanti, notti e festivi e parecchie responsabilità. Vorrei sentire l'esperienza di chi ci lavora davvero, perché magari da fuori sto guardando la situazione in modo completamente sbagliato.
