I have been on ascend for a year and while I really love it I think evolve had the better split this series. Now there’s only one week left in this series so it will ultimately come down to the split next series for me but what do you guys like about each?
I got a call this summer that my admin is forcing me from first grade inclusion (I was the gen ed teacher for 6 years) to the sped teacher. I will go from having my own room to pushing into rooms.
What changes should I expect? I also have no idea what i’m doing. Any advice is appreciated
Ok so I have about 10 months left in my current lease. My upstairs neighbors are so annoying that I had to put in a noise complaint (2 actually) they had music blaring for over 9 hours and I completely lost it. We decided to tour other units on the property. Here’s the thing. I love this unit but this other unit we found is on the top floor. It is ADA compliant so it is a little different. I can’t decide what I want to do. so I made a pros/ cons list and would love some unbiased opinions. The neighbors have been quieter since we made the second complaint.
My current unit:
Pros:
Slightly larger (800 sq ft)
Stacked washer and dryer
A lot of storage
Kitchen island sections kitchen
Lots of counter space
Cons:
Upstairs neighbors
Lots of pool noise (we are right above it on a lower floor)
Less privacy (balcony neighbors)
Newer unit:
Pros:
$250 dollars less per month (we do have to pay a fee to transfer units but we will make that back and then some with the transfer)
Balcony is less enclosed but top floor, completely private and in front of the building away from the pool and all of its noise
Lots of natural sunlight
Big bedroom window (our current unit has a tiny one)
Our chance to experience top floor for a low price
Cons:
2 in 1 washer dryer
Less storage because of ada compliance
Smaller (700 sq ft)
My boyfriend’s take is we could just try it and get a new experience because life is short and it’s not like we own our current unit. My take is that the unit does excite me but I’m afraid of missing this unit and regretting it. Idk what to do!! We have to let them know by Monday because they took it off the market for us.
Hi so one of the apartments I want to move into have a 2 in 1 washer dryer? Has anyone had a good experience? Is this a deal breaker? Going to a laundry mat will make me miserable
