As the rarest eye color in the world I love seeing other people’s green eyes. It’s cool when you meet a fellow green eyed friend.

Rupert was a swimmer. He loved any body of water, whether it was a lake,ocean or pool. He could do high fives and knew how to spin on command. He got me through college, breakups and many moves around the world. He was born in Alaska and lived in Spain with me for two years. He lived a well cultured life and got to swim in some of the most beautiful places. My heart still hurts and I feel a void in my home. His little partner Lili, a miniature dachshund is alone now and we’re trying to decide the right time to get a new puppy to keep her company. If anyone has dealt with a similar scenario where they lost one dog out of a pair, I would love to hear how you helped your other little one grieve.
