I need perspective on a crush
Now that it’s the holiday, I hope the mods won’t mind if I asked something a little irrelevant here. I just want to get some perspective from the NTU population.
So, there’s this girl I like and I’ve been talking to her irl and on text for a while now. Her responses are warm and she reciprocates sometimes but I’m always the one who initiates. I have no problems with that of course. And she does reply, but she can take hours or even a little more than a day to respond to my texts sometimes.
My problem is, I don’t have a lot of experience with texting girls, so I can’t quite tell whether I’m in the nuisance lane, the friend lane, or the friend-but-maybe-there’s-a-chance lane. I want to get to know her more, but I don’t want to jump the gun and make things awkward or uncomfortable so I want to get a lay of the land first.
I want to get some honest perspective from fellow university students here, is this normal? Am I normal? Just be brutally honest here, I’m a stranger on the internet just go for it.
