This year I received Needs Improvement (NI) rating, and now I received a mail that need to complete PIP and my Manager did not discuss with me before putting me in PIP

As of now in PIP they asked me to do 3 certifications or I don't know if I will not clear the certification , what will happen and what will be the process for that.

I have total 5 yrs of experience and I'm confused

Can you please suggest what can be a better option and what are the things I should have ask to my manager ?
