Week 3 is worse than week 1?

I’m on week 3 and this week has by far been the most painful to where my teeth are actually sore. I can’t bite directly into an apple from soreness. I DID start rubber bands this week so maybe that has something to do with it? every source I read says week one is the worst but that’s looking like a walk in the park compared to week 3 lol

Private practice / outpatient

does anyone ever feel like patients just want you to fix their problem for them? on occasion I’ll have a patient who generally seems annoyed or disappointed in my guidance. I will ask how they feel about the guidance and the goals we set/if it’s realistic for them. I will ask for any questions or concerns, and they never say anything. I feel like I can’t be going crazy because I have many patients who find my guidance helpful. I’m still to a counseling only setting (5 months in), so I’m just wondering your experience with this? I know I can’t please everyone, but I genuinely do not want my patients leaving like they have no support or like I didn’t address their needs. Sometimes I wonder if they just expect me to say some magical words to fix the problem for them.

hi all,

I just got my pap results back from last weeks appointment at 7 weeks. I’m currently 8 weeks and as far as I know the pregnancy is going really well so far. I have a history of abnormal cells from HPV that inevitably resolved on its own as I’ve had clear results in later paps. this is the first abnormal pap I’ve had in years and I’m just a little worried.

My doctor has yet to call but I was wondering if anyone else has gotten a positive ASCUS while pregnant? my HPV test was negative actually so I’m not quite sure what would cause this. Google says it can happen in pregnancy sometimes due to hormone changes and changes to cervix or irritation.

Obviously I will speak to my Dr about this but it’s Saturday today. Was seeking any input from others with similar experiences
