I have a beagle that’s 6 months old now and he’s a good boy (other than the occasional bite).

My mother has always said she’d send him to the vet to neuter when he’s a year old, but today she’d seen some videos about how neutering only reduces testicular cancer in dogs by a few percent.

When I asked what if our puppy meets a female dog, but she reasons that as long as we don’t meet female dogs in heat, we’ll be fine. Lastly, I told her that neutering could stop aggression, but she thinks the pup isn’t aggressive.

Overall, she’s mostly worried about the negative effects neutering might have on his mental wellbeing.

How do I reason with my mother? I’m a minor and my word doesn’t hold any power in the household.

I have like 3 minor fractures in my leg, so I have a fibreglass cast on my ankle and foot for the past month. I’m getting it removed soon, so what do I expect after? Is it the grey plastic support thing?

I don’t have a sphynx kitty but my neighbour does. Sometimes I watch the cat sit by the windowsill when I walk by.
