Not Feeling Prepared for #2

This may be silly. But I almost feel less prepared this round. Mostly in regards to feedings and naps. 1, because I really have little memory of the newborn phase with baby #1. It truly is a blur. And 2, I feel like everybody prepares you so much more for your first. Where your second, they just assume you got this because you've done it before. And I'm sure it will be another situation where I google as I go. But did anybody else struggle with this. I have almost zero memory of how much the baby ate and when. Or when schedules should start or what they should be? I'm assuming it will all work itself out again fine but my memory is just struggling to remember anything. Also a boy this time verses a girl with my first. I'm like wait, how do I change a boys' diaper???

Schedule/Timesheet changes

So, they continue to crack down on schedule changes and timesheet changes. Can't have more than one in 30 days or it will lead to performance management. . . yet, systems can go down constantly and we are forced to adjust our schedules. . . Make it make sense.

Emotional Over Second Child

I'm 6 months pregnant with an 19 month old. This entire pregnancy I've been so emotional over the fact of my current child not being my only, having to share time, or give less attention to her. I know this is a common feeling but I just can't kick it. I seriously break down in tears when I think about it. She is my entire world right now and I almost feel guilty bringing in another sibling to take away from her time with me and here dad. I didn't want her to be an only child, so I keep reminding myself that. And my second will be a boy, so she will always be my little girl. But It just breaks my heart. Does this feeling go away shortly after birth? I'm already missing the time I might lose with her. . . ugh I feel so hormonal and unable to manage this feeling.

Stylists Dropping

I know it's been discussed a few times here and there but watching the stylists number drop every morning is a bit scary. . . I think since I've started paying attention a couple of weeks ago it's been 30+ less.

First Fix Review

For those that have to have your lead review your First Fixes. . . . how is this going for you? For me, it's just another example of my lead being able to pick apart everything I do. Again, my metrics were above the benchmark across the board for First Fixes. It was never even something that I worried about. And now I'm just getting told that I'm bad at another aspect of my job. . . it's seriously so exhausting and stressful.

Jealousy

I currently have an 18 month old and am due in 3 months. I'm getting worried about the jealousy that will come with a new baby. My daughter is a pretty good sleeper but still will occassionally want to come lay in bed with us. I'm wondering what she will do when the new baby is in the bassinet in our room. Did anybody have sleep regressions with your toddler when your new baby arrived?

So unwell these last two weeks. . . .

I know every other post is similar. But the micromanaging on every front is getting so crazy. If there is a low metric, called out. Poorly written note, better do some live styling sessions. Timesheet corrections, here's the policy to review. Maybe I'm just some horseshit employee but every week it's something. Slow down styling and focus on personalization. Uh-oh watch your efficiency it's starting to drop. My success rates are always way over benchmark, which is never acknowledged. But anytime my WYB dips it involves a meeting. I wish I could see it from leads perspective. How much are they being managed to call out stylists? What is the end goal? Stylists all quit and they lean into AI?
