We love Palm Springs because of the easy airport, short flight, reliable pool weather, amazing restaurants, and the gay resorts. But would love to have more ideas. 😁
We were in Palm Springs recently at one of the gay resorts and people seemed very interested in talking to us. But as soon as we mentioned we were just taking a quick getaway from our Children-- it's like the vibe changed completely. Like our social value immediately plummeted. We've experienced this in different smaller ways. But this particular time, it's like a pool full of tipsy gays were reacting to a terminal diagnosis. Anyone else ever experience that at all?
Curious if there are any events, parties, concerts, or social gatherings that I might not be seeing? Anybody going to be there that weekend?
Just curious if there is anything fun going on within the gay community. Parties--Shows--Social gatherings? Any other couples visiting? We are staying at Twin Palms. Open to double dates and other possible fun. We are a couple in late 30s/ early 40s.
