Has anyone actually bought one of those "Best Airbnb" curated lists from influencers? Worth it or a scam?

I keep seeing influencers on TikTok and Instagram promoting these curated Airbnb lists or Google Maps pins where they claim to have filtered out the absolute best, most unique, or design-forward Airbnbs in specific regions/cities.They usually sell them for anywhere between $5 to $25, promising to save you hours of endless scrolling and filtering.
I’m currently planning a trip and honestly, the Airbnb fatigue is real. The search filters on the platform have gotten so frustrating lately.
Has anyone here ever actually purchased one of these lists?
Was the quality actually good, or was it just a compilation of properties you could easily find on the first page of search results anyway?
Are there any free, community-driven alternatives where people share pre-filtered, high-quality Airbnb lists?
