Help please! Some honest feedback would be awesome

Edit: I know faceapp is the root of all evil and I dont use it for goals or whatever.. Its just that I only see "male" in my reflection but the faceapp version is just different enough that my brain doesnt bias it.. Im just asking if others see the same; male on the left, female on the right, or if Im actually looking more fem than I think.

Tldr: To me the faceapp version reads fem but I feel like I read almost 100% male. Is that the case or is it my bias?

So I was playing with makeup and dont often go to faceapp butcthought it would be interesting to see what it would do nowadays. It identified me as female (which its been doing consistently, yay!) and I selected feminine to see what it would look like or change.

So I see it made subtle changes to my features and hair and neck ect but like nothing huge right.

The thing is, I see "guy" on the left and "girl" on the right. So my question is, is it actually that the changes were big enough to shift me from male enough to female enough that ts different OR do I just see male on the left because I have that bias to myself and faceapp was just different enough to remove my self image..

Im not too worried if I still read male (well slightly devastated) as Ive got ffs in like 3 weeks and I'm only a year into hrt so theres time or whatever but Id like to know where Im at and I dont trust myself..

"I really love the woman your becoming". -My wife

12 years ago I came out to her and she said she would support me 100% but shes scared and cant say for sure she'll still want to be with me. I decided to hold off transition.

2 years ago, I told her its all too much and I need to transition. She said she would support me 100% but has no idea if she will still be attracted to me but promised worst case we would be best friends.

Over that time our relationship has evolved and of the 20 years we've shared together, we have never been this close or connected. She is my biggest supporter along with her father and her siblings.

Just wanted to share. I entered transition assuming I would be alone but comfortable in my skin. Im not alone and Im greatful.

5 minutes after Laser session #14 vs the day before session #1

Almost there now. I get a bit of shadow above my top lip and around my chin coming up to the next appointment but thats about it. The upper lip still sheds almost 100% each session but not all of the chin hair does..

Hopefully only a few more sessions to go before I start electrolysis to clean up the greys but Im pretty happy with this progress.

For reference the regrowth in the before photo is 1 or 2 days.. Id have what people would happily call a beard after a week of not shaving. The first laser tech said to expect about 12 sessions but after spending a lifetime trawling these subs I figured Id be in for about 20 sessions and it seems like a good guess.

15 months hrt progress starting at 35 (mtf)

It sometimes feels like I'll never be in a place where I can present fem but I've come a long way and Im greatful for even this amount of progress..

Im at 15 months hrt though only good levels for 6months and started at 35.

Ive just reached the stage where people who have known me a long time that I wasnt out to give suspicious looks 😂.

I was nw6/7 in the first photo and with meds and a transplant 6 months ago Ive got thick curls haha. Never thought this would be possible and to be honest, my lack of hair was what held me back from starting this 10 years ago.

Up until the day I started hrt I was into body builing and power lifting. My body has changed heaps though I'm hoping my neck and traps will decrease a bit more. I've lost 10kg between the gym pics but also went from 10-15% body fat to 26% now.

First pic is 12 months ago vs now. Second pic is a few years ago at the gym vs now.

Here's my timeline over the last 15 months.

Hi all, Ive been wanting to share for a bit but wanted to wait u till my transplant settles a bit.

I assumed Id need to use wigs to ever have hair and happily settled into that but thought Id give hair regrowth a go and threw everything at it. I started dutasteride and topical minoxidil when I started hrt. That along with microneedling with a Dr pen, massage, biotin, and whatever else I could find a study suggesting it would be beneficial including 3 round of prp.

At the 3 months mark I went in for a hair transplant consult and was told they were happy with my doner area for a 6000+ fue but to keep in mind the scalp would always be thin.

At 9 months, I had the transplant over 2 days moving 6500 follicles. There was enough regrowth on my scalp that they were now confident Id get good coverage from it.

Im now 6 months post transplant and seeing some good results. The transplant drs say my density is about a month ahead of what they expect to see and think Ive had really really good grafts survival. The hair is this enough that from the front it looks full even when its wet. Tge scalp is a bit thin but in other than direct sunlight it looks good. The best part is hrt has made my hair curly or at least very wavy so it should seem a lot thicker too.

This is my first post with pics so I have no idea what order they will come up in but they should be self explanatory..

Pics should be:

- pre/post for attention

- pre hrt

- 9 months hrt

- now from the front in sunlight

- my scalp with mousse in horrible bright led lighting directly above

- my scalp in normal light with the mousse broken

Maybe its not the point of this sub to include results from a hair transplant, Ill let mods judge that. However, my hair has held me back from transition for the last 10 years. If I knew this was possible all that time ago, I wouldn't have lost all this time.
