[Android] Little Haven, $14.99/yr → Free Lifetime • An all-in-one well-being and self-care app with cozy pixel pet companion

Hey everyone 👋 My wife and I launched an app called: Little Haven, a cozy pixel companion for your well-being. Small daily practices: breathing, mood check-ins, focus. It's gentle for anxious, ADHD, and burnt-out brains.

A little about us: my wife is trained in positive psychology, and I'm a designer/developer who's spent the last 5 years working in the mental health space.

Most well-being/self-care apps we tried felt like another to-do list. Streaks that punish you for missing a Tuesday. Trackers that turn your inner life into a leaderboard. We wanted something softer, an app that's happy to see you whether you opened it yesterday or three weeks ago.

We built a pixel pet you can play with alongside your own little well-being practices. Hatch an egg. Pick a friend. Do a breathing practice, check-in your mood, write one thing you're grateful for. That's it.

What's inside:

  • A pixel pet with idle moods and tiny celebrations
  • Breathing guide
  • Mood check-ins with optional private notes
  • Morning and Evening Reflections
  • Gratitude Journal
  • Free form Journal
  • Focus timer (Pomodoro)
  • A library of ambient sounds (rain, forest, wave, etc)
  • Fully offline. No account, no email, no sync. Your journal lives on your phone (Device Sync and Cloud Back up is coming soon)
  • More updates are coming soon: Bite sized wisdom and journal prompts, daily content, more biomes, more pets, more well-being tools.

How to get a Lifetime Pro Access (FREE)

Download and open the app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gettama.app

  • Hatch your egg, try a breathing session, focus timer, journaling if you like.
  • Upvote + comment below
  • I'd appreciate if you leave a rating/review on the PlayStore - that would mean the world to us.
  • I'll grant you lifetime access within 24hrs
  • This offer limited for 100 users

Trade the scroll for a tiny haven. Cheers

My first paying users 🎉

just hit my first paying users and honestly im a little emotional about it 🥹

started this thing 2 months ago, launched 3 weeks ago. and like… building is no longer the hard part but the actual nightmare is getting people to even find your app and then trust it enough to pay. doing that organically is rough

numbers are tiny rn, €40 revenue and a couple subscribers, 242 signups.

anyway felt like sharing. throw your wins in the replies, lets gas each other up 🙏

Next milestone: $10 MRR and $100+ in rev

Organic distribution with zero budget - what worked for you?

Hey everyone 👋

My wife and I launched our first app, a cozy pixel companion for well-being. It’s a bit like a Tamagotchi: you play with a pixel pet alongside small daily practices like breathing, mood check-ins, gratitude, journaling, focus timers, and ambient sounds.

The build was the easy part. Distribution is kicking my butt. I was laid off a few months ago, so I’ve got no capital for paid ads and want to keep things as minimal as possible for now.

I’ve been trying to keep it organic, posting in threads, TikTok, Instagram, and it’s super slow going.

I’d love advice from anyone who’s been through this:

what actually moved the needle early on with no budget?

Did organic ever compound for you?

Anything you wish you’d done differently in the first few months?

Also genuinely open to feedback on the app itself if you give it a try.
