Yesterday evening i getting issues with filament loading. It was not able to load from ACE or manually. I opened the extruder and see the ball bearing is broken and the bearing holder/guide is totally worn out. Looks like the ball bearing was not inserted correctly. The ball on the photo was the only one which was still there. Ordered a new extruder. Hopefully the new one works longer.
Any idea how to fix this? It looks like the Z axis at the whole border is wrong.
Edit: final test is done. The z-offset setting to 0,12 made it. What i also see somehow the z-offset was set to -0,03 or -0,3 (not sure anymore). Don't know from where it comes. But for now i'm happy.
What i've done:
- new calibration of Filament (guide from Youtube Guide), to be sure it's not a fillament problem.
- cleaning the plate with dishwasher and isopropyl alcohol (makes a huge difference)
- preheat the plate to 70°C for 10 minutes
- going step by step to the final z-offset. first with 0 and then 0,05 and so on.
the result is perfect to me
