Got poweramp and RootlessJamesDSP working together...

I've been using poweramp with dump permission for a long time but I used it with brave, because of no ads ofc... Then after I got used to poweramp I felt I wanted room for the sound, I wanted some reverb... Then I searched for an app using which i can achieve reverb then I found RootlessJamesDSP...

But there was a problem... I couldn't stack both of the apps... Probably because of a single sound pipeline... And i was using brave... Which is not a music app to begin with... Then i downloaded metrolist which also didn't have ads... Then i thought wait a second... JamesDSP might also expose a channel that poweramp can latch onto ... The I'd be damned it worked... JamesDSP and poweramp were working together... Im so happy rn...

But, there's something "My guess is that JamesDSP creates an audio session that Poweramp can attach to, but that's just a hypothesis." It's working for me... But might not for you...

So,

-Metrolist for the songs...

-JamesDSP for convolver reverb etc... (I haven't learned james completely yet)... U will need adb here too...

-Poweramp, turn on poweramp eq for RootlessJamesDSP...

If anyone knows the Android audio mechanism behind this, I'd love to hear the explanation...

Is killing someone really wrong? Why do people kill??

I observed something very interesting, people say killing is wrong, there are different countries in the world there are borders between these countries, these countries fight together which results in destruction and deaths... All for selfish reasons...

Lets, call people of a country as one society, this society forms some rules so that the balance in the society will be maintained...

Society exists so, people don't fight each other and things stay peaceful and everyone can survive

If some injustice happens the perpetrator is judged on basis of the law or rule, if the society fails to deliver the judgement people will follow their own sense of justice and take revenge for the injustice happened with them... This may lead to mass deaths if wee see about it...

Therefore humans do need to stick together... This takes me somewhere deep and I see that people if rules or society did not exist would have had not regrets or remorse for killing but there is a catch if it was for the sake of revenge or the human is a psycho because there is no reason for someone to kill someone normally...

There is also something... Need of justice is strongly related to revenge and vengeance...

Failure of law leads to crimes... Take India for example people don't trust law... They will kill you if you kill some one close to theirs... Or do something you shouldnt have.. people won't go to court like they do in developed countries... Im generalizing this yes there are other cases... But the people taking things in there hands are more...

There is more to this... I'll talk more in the subreddit... Depends on replies too...

Any ideas about utilites that arch linux really needs...

So recently I posted a post on r/archlinux and got kinda criticized for the project idea... Like don't build something that isn't needed... So can I get any suggestions on something that I can build... Oh... And im comfortable with python bash and qml and C++ and C...

GUI based package manager for hyprland

A few things it does:

• Search packages across pacman, AUR, and other sources from one place

• Show where a package comes from before installing it

• Display package integrity and health information

• Check for orphaned packages

• Verify installed package files

• Show available updates from both pacman and AUR

• Provide general package statistics and system information

Oh and one more thing it also tells source of a package like if you have a old package and don't remember where it came from aur or pacman...or any other package manager...

The goal is to make it easier for PPL who prefer GUI but arch PPL are adept at using a terminal so this is a fun project... The goal is not to replace the terminal don't attack me... It's to put useful package management information at one place and it uses GUI

there'll be more support for different package managers in future ofc...

And if u ask why am I being self aware because arch weebs attack you after they hear GUI... I got attacked last time due to phrasing like come on see my project first don't just judge on titles and I'm looking for contributors as well... GUI based package manager for arch linux

GUI based package manager for arch linux

Arch already has pacman. We have the AUR. We can install pretty much everything from a terminal.

So why did I build a GUI package manager?

Mostly because I wanted to, and because not everyone enjoys memorizing commands or jumping between different tools.

A few things it does:

• Search packages across pacman, AUR, and other sources from one place

• Show where a package comes from before installing it

• Display package integrity and health information

• Check for orphaned packages

• Verify installed package files

• Show available updates from both pacman and AUR

• Provide general package statistics and system information

The goal isn't to replace the terminal. It's to put useful package-management information in one place with a clean interface and make it easier for people who prefer a GUI.

I built it because I thought it would be useful, and because building things is fun..

And if u ask why am I being self aware because arch weebs attack you after they hear GUI... I got attacked last time due to phrasing like come on see my project first don't just judge on titles and I'm looking for contributors as well...

Arch linux package management hassle solved

So we all know how hard it is to manage packages on arch, so i built a GUI package manager using rofi...

Version 0.1 is out, you can see your installed packages which were installed using pacman or AUR repos like yay... Not only that you can see orphans, updates available as well...

You can see flatpak packages as well.. this is all in V0.1

in V0.2 you will be able to install, update and delete from GUI(rofi only), in future I'll use QML to build a better frontend that will be near V0.5...

(NOTE: THIS PROJECT IS FOR PEOPLE WHO PREFER GUI AND ARENT ABLE TO MANAGE PACAKGES USING PACMAN YAY PARY OR checkupdates, BASICALLY PEOPLE WHO ARE NEW OR PREFER GUI)
