I 32(F) met a man on a dating app recently. Him and I kicked it off super quick and texted for a few days. He made it known he was dating around and had been on a few dates with someone else but they weren't exclusive. He asked me on a date and about a day or so later he cancelled. He explained that he has had so much fun talking to me and he'd totally date me but he just can't do this dating thing with more than one person at a time.
Said he just had to figure some stuff out and make sure what he has now isn't actually going anywhere.

I gotta be honest, we only texted a few days but I felt something there and I can't let it go.

I would love to reach out and explain that but don't know if it's a good idea.
