Somehow, I have not seen many posts here about this, but
Before cyberstan
Mechs had 850 health
For example, devastator rockets did 30 damage
Meaning it took 850/30=28.33 hits to kill
(Note this does not factor explosive damage because it remains unchanged since before Cyberstan, so no reason to calculate it, so all breakpoint numbers are lower)
After cyberstan
Mechs had 850 health
The devastator rockets do 100 damage
850/100=8.5 hits to kill
After the mech buff
Mech has 1600 health
The devastator rockets do 100 damage
1600/100=16 hits to kill
I mean its not like rocket devastators, hulks, rocket troopers, and rocket striders are common enemies, and it's not like devastators have a 12 rockets per brust oh wait
But to be fair, laser attacks still do next to no damage to the mech, so at least that was a buff
And cannon turrets are no longer one-shot, but it does leave it on 100 hp, so it might as well
So mechs are still weaker than they were before Cyberstan
As for the bugs, by and large, nothing changed over there. The mech was pretty much unkillable before and after these changes, but you have to stagger any heavy and kill spewers, which, to be fair, is how you always used mechs on bugs
