This morning I’m looking out my kitchen window and a Richland County sheriff pulls up and starts walking in my yard. I ask if I can help him and he asks me if Denise Smart lives here. I told him this house has been in my family for over 30 years and I don’t know who that is. As he walks away I ask is she missing or something? He said “someone” in the neighborhood was arguing with her and they think she lives in a house with palm trees in the yard. I just roll my eyes, shake my head and go enjoy my morning coffee. BTW this is Windsor Lake Park subdivision off Decker. Not known as a hotbed of crime. But it’s creeping in from down Hunt Club. If this wasn’t a family house I would be gone. Ok Denise heads up.
