Just got a bearded dragon from my coworker. I have a 40 gal tank with a top that slides open. Looking for advise and people’s preferences. Never had a bearded dragon but had a lot of green anoles growing up and never had any problems.

Attached photos. We’re getting better stuff for him to climb just ordered it. This is day one of him being with us. He came from a 20 gal tank.
Also getting different sand this was what was available at the store. Better sand coming in the mail.

Any advise of types of sand? One or two lamps?
We currently have one 75w basking lamp uvb.
Are heating pads any good? The tank I got came with one but we havnt used it.
Brands of cleaner? Or just 50/50 white vinegar and water?

Any tips or hints would be great.
