I was at Woodbine beach today (May 18, 2026) between 1pm~3:45pm. I thought it would be super hot because it was 32C and didn’t think the winds from the lake would be so strong.
If you are heading to the beach tonight for the fireworks, definitely bring a jacket! And also maybe some toilet paper/tissue/napkins or whatever just in case the washroom stall you end up doesn’t have any left.
It wasn’t as busy as I thought it would be. Maybe it will be later for the fireworks though.

I'll be moving from Toronto to Vancouver to start the UBC BSN program this coming September. I'm just looking around and rent in Vancouver is so much higher than in Toronto LOL. But anyways, I was wondering if anyone had regrets living in North Vancouver while doing the BSN program.

I'm just a wee bit nervous about getting to and from some placement locations (Abbotsford & White Rock)...
