Reporting it as the previous post title was misleading.

I have some lump sum amount of 10 lakh which I want to park somewhere which will be deployed in the future as we have the opportunity.

Risk appetite - Moderate

Goal - Wealth Creation

Horizon - 10+ years

App used - Coin

Allocation - as of today

1. Mutual Fund - 58%

2. Gold - 37%

3. Stocks - 5%

Shall I invest the amount in an arbitrage fund and utility it to buy the dip strategy? Or park it in the Gold as I am bullish on the Gold rally (personal bias)?

Why these funds:

1. Arbitrage fund - buy the dip bucket.

2. Gold - To buy equity after AI rally cool off or after market uncertainty is lower than today due to war and trade tariffs.

Please note I have an emergency fund separate from the above allocation. I am actively doing the SIP in equity MF only.

Where to park 10L as Hedge?

Why did I select these funds?

- Navi Nifty 50 Index Fund – Chosen for its low expense ratio while providing broad market exposure.

- HDFC Flexi Cap Fund – Selected because of its consistent long-term performance compared to other flexi-cap funds.

- Kotak Mid Cap Fund – Preferred over a mid-cap index fund due to its superior historical performance.

- Bandhan Small Cap Fund – Chosen for its strong returns with relatively lower volatility than many peers.

- Quant Small Cap Fund – Added alongside Bandhan to diversify across two different investment styles. It is more volatile but has higher return potential.

- HDFC Healthcare Fund – I strongly believe the healthcare sector has significant long-term growth potential.

- Motilal Oswal Arbitrage Fund – Included for short-term liquidity needs and to add stability to the portfolio.

- ICICI Prudential Gold FoF – Added as a hedge and for portfolio stability during market uncertainty.

- Navi Nifty 50 Index Fund – ₹20,000 (20%)

- HDFC Flexi Cap Fund – ₹20,000 (20%)

- Kotak Mid Cap Fund – ₹20,000 (20%)

Future Plan: Once the current AI-driven bull run/bubble cools down, I plan to start investing in an international Fund of Funds (FoF). I prefer mutual funds over ETFs since I don't want the hassle of managing ETFs.

I’m open to taking slightly more risk than my current allocation, but I’m also mindful of volatility. Do you think this allocation is suitable for long-term wealth creation, or would you make any changes? Any suggestions are welcome!
