Seeking Genuine Guidance: Career Clarity & Spiritual Advice During a Difficult Phase

Hello everyone.

I am a teenager who is sincerely looking for guidance regarding my career and future. At the same time, I have been going through significant mental and physical difficulties within my family, and those experiences have left me feeling deeply affected. I am trying to move forward, but I feel confused and would genuinely appreciate guidance from someone experienced.

If anyone here has knowledge in career guidance, astrology, or spiritual counseling and is willing to help, please feel free to DM me. Kindly send a chat request along with your full name and a brief introduction, so I know who I am speaking with.

Once I know you, I will be comfortable sharing my birth details, Janma Kundali, and Tithi privately for guidance. Please understand that I am seeking sincere help, not casual conversations or jokes.

Thank you in advance to anyone willing to help. 🙏

Why Does Tantra Embrace Desire and Also Transcend It?

One aspect of Tantra has always made me pause and reflect. On one hand, Mahadevi as Tripurasundarī and Kamakhya is associated with desire, creation, and the transformative power of kāma. In certain tantric traditions, even Maithuna, one of the Pañca Makāra, is interpreted as a ritual with profound symbolic and spiritual significance—not merely as a physical act, but as a means of transcending duality. Yet, on the other hand, the same Divine Mother manifests as Chinnamastā, who symbolizes the severing of ego, attachment, and uncontrolled kāma-vāsanā. How do practitioners reconcile these two seemingly opposite aspects? Is the teaching that desire is to be consciously transformed rather than simply indulged or suppressed?

As someone sincerely engaged in spiritual practice, I find this paradox difficult to fully understand. I also notice that many YouTube "babas" seem to discuss only fragments of Tantra—often focusing on technical rituals or sensational topics, and sometimes appearing more interested in the search for a Bhairavī than in the deeper philosophical and transformative essence of the tradition. I would genuinely appreciate insights from experienced practitioners and scholars on how these teachings are understood within authentic tantric lineages.

Discussion: Kerala Paddhati of "Vampirism" – Is There Such a Tantra Tradition?

I recently came across references to what some people call the Kerala Paddhati of Vampirism. According to what I heard, it is not about drinking blood, but about the occult concept of absorbing, restricting, or sealing another practitioner's Shakti (spiritual energy) through advanced tantric methods.

Some even claim that certain gurus could temporarily suppress or "lock" a disciple's spiritual power until specific conditions were fulfilled. However, I have not found reliable textual references confirming this, and most of what I've encountered seems to come from oral traditions or modern occult discussions.

Interestingly, I also heard about this concept from someone with a strong background in Srividya , who suggested that if such a phenomenon exists, it may involve principles that current Srividya has not yet explained. At the same time, I understand that there is no accepted shastric evidence supporting these claims, so I am approaching the subject with curiosity rather than certainty.

Some traditions further suggest that, if such a process were real, it could temporarily reduce a practitioner's vitality, concentration, spiritual progress, or meditative stability by restricting the flow of Shakti. However, I have not found reliable historical or scriptural sources that confirm these claims.

I would like to ask experienced practitioners:

• Does any authentic Kerala Tantra lineage mention such a practice?

• Is there any scriptural or traditional basis for "Shakti sealing" or "energy vampirism"?

• Is this an actual tantric technique, or is it a later myth or misunderstanding?

• If such practices are believed to exist within certain lineages, what are their limitations, and how are practitioners traditionally said to protect themselves?

I'm looking for informed perspectives, references, or personal experiences rather than speculation. Thank you.

A Word of Caution About Rajarshi Nandy and KBUF

Before getting involved with Rajarshi Nandy, KBUF, or any spiritual organization, please do your own research and think critically.

Over the years, numerous concerns, allegations, and critical discussions have been raised by former followers and observers regarding the teachings, practices, leadership style, and overall culture surrounding these circles. Questions have also been raised about transparency, accountability, and the way criticism is handled.

What concerns me most is the possibility of people becoming emotionally, financially, or spiritually dependent on a single teacher without adequate questioning or independent verification.

I am not asking anyone to accept my opinion blindly. I am asking people to examine all sides, listen to both supporters and critics, verify claims independently, and make informed decisions.

A genuine spiritual path should encourage self-reliance, clarity, personal growth, and the freedom to ask difficult questions. If questioning is discouraged or criticism is dismissed without discussion, that alone should be a reason to proceed with caution.

Research thoroughly. Think independently. Trust evidence over devotion.
