Here's the ultimate hack for traveling the world without taking stress of airline baggages

So , I travel a lot and I love to go island hopping and usually go for swimming, hiking , climbing , walking , even running (if possible)! A very active holiday, and not the BS resort stays and fake pools.

I hate traveling by air but there are no real alternatives, and i am always pissed about my bagpack's weight! Now I try to travel light and can buy cheap clothes or even do laundry. But WTF should i do for these shoes?

I carry a sneaker+ an overall slipper , and sometimes a decent converse if i am going for clubbing. Cant buy cheap shit as it f*cks with your feet. And since I am very active, I cant wear the same shit everywhere. Sneakers in a lounge, yuck!

So I thought I need just one type of footwear that I can use everywhere! After lot of deliberation and f*ckups (someone stole my Air Jordans in Manila 's hostel) , i came with a simple rule.

You need one footwear that is multipurpose. I went through the options, and finally concluded that only two brands offer such flexibility. Birkenstock and Crocs!

Now hear me out. Sure, Birkenstocks are expensive , but you can literally wear them on airport , on streets ,in casual events , even hiking (they have excellent grip) , near the beach (just dont take it in water) and i can just throw them back on when you leave. Its that simple.

If you are a water baby, then go for Crocs! But their ugly design makes you look lazy in clubs or on a date (if you are lucky enough!)

Trust me on this, having one pair takes out a chunk of space from your backpack and maybe make some space for couple of more trunks, which you desperately need on your sixth day of week long trip!

₹9,000 Birkenstock sandals vs ₹1,500 Neemans alternatives — has anyone actually done this comparison honestly?

I've seen the Neemans, the Paaduks, the Carlton London knockoffs. Some people swear by them. I bought the actual thing 8 months ago. But everyone keeps comparing them with the more expensive Birkenstocks (they look exactly the same!) but are priced 5x more. Is it just the brand name or are their any difference in terms of material and comfort etc etc

Does KOACH wear these sandals everywhere?

Not sure what these black sandals are (someone told me Birkenstock Arizona?) Are they really that good that he wears them even in cafes or interviews?

So my Nimbus is going through puberty and popping eggs like no one’s business. She likes to hide herself for few hours during daytime and she loves to eat my nails almost all the time.

Today, it became so bad that I have to hide my fingers and let her bite off my phone cover. I know cockatiels like to chew stuff, but if I take my fingers away, she just keeps chasing it.

How to discourage her from doing so, or is it lack of training?

She doesn’t do the same stuff with my partner though. Pretty chilled relationship with her
