Ontario, Canada. What do I do with my asphalt driveway against my lawn?

This driveway and lawn were put in last year. The driveway is not 90 degrees on the edge. It slopes at the bottom towards the lawn.

Do I just fill it with top soil and seed? Can I chip away the asphalt to make it 90degrees?

Ever have your girls team play against a trans athlete who is the most skilled on the field?

Context... This is u14 girls.

The trans kid played goal the first half and stopped absolutely everything, even a PK.

They played Forward in the 2nd half, and just pushed my team all over the place.

There's nothing I can really do or say. It's definitely not fair.

Other team making a wall on GK free kicks

I coach u14 girls 7v7. Last night the opposing team made a wall of 5 players between the build out line and mid field line on every free kick my goal keeper had.

90% of passes and goal kicks were intercepted by this wall.

I only have 1 kid that could potentially kick it over the wall of players.

Should I give the opposing team a corner kick to bring their players deep into my teams zone? It would make it easier for my girls to get the ball down the field which would be almost entirely undefended.

I have coached for the last 5 years, and every year the kids play the season and then it's over. No tournaments, no finals.

I heard some of the kids say, my dad says we should be trying harder. I've heard some of the kids say, why are we even trying.

Would going to the other coaches and asking if they want a championship game at the end of the season be a good idea or bad idea?
