With some reports of 'prop failure' among Mini 5 Pro, I'm surprised some people don't properly fold their propellers, they just shove the propeller on top of each other then gets forcefully pressed with the Gimbal Protector. You can see this instruction on Page 55 of the Mini 5 Pro's Manual.
How do you balance your Work and Travel Vlogging?
I currently do 3 things, I have a Full-time as a Multimedia Specialist for a Media company, I do Travel vlogging for 2 years (Monetized), and lastly I do Freelance as a Drone Pilot. Now for those in my same position, I would like to ask the ff questions:
Since this is a Travel subreddit, I'm kina curious, most viewers for Travel vlogging watch via Television and not mobile (unless for Youtube Shorts). So if your favorite Travel Youtuber posts a new video, do you click the bell notification or do you just watch via Home page?
Hi there, I've been getting music from Audio Library for 2 years now, however every time I got a copyright claim from another provider or worse a fraudulent claimer, Audio Library is just replying: "sorry but the claimer is from another party, which we have no control", it sucks and feels like a Russian Roulette every time I pick a song in their channel. Now I feel like just getting the Artlist or Envato Individual Plan for my Travel Channel.
The reason why I'm asking this is because in 2 years, this is the first time I got a copyright claim from a fraudulent company called: "We Are Era BV". They gave me a copyright claim in a song I got from Audio Library, which I included the Full Attribute in the Description. I sent a Dispute and Email with link and copy of the Attribute, and until now they still hasn't responded. This came to a realization that I need some sort of protection by buying a Song Subscription via Artlist or Envato but the question is, if there's going to be a '3rd party Unresponsive fraudulent Claimer', will Envato or Artlist assist me in solving the claim or they'll be like Audio Library who says: "Sorry that's a 3rd party claimer, which we have no control"?
Here in my country (which is in Asia), DJI Shops are rapidly decreasing the price of Air 3s, we just have another discount promotion for the Air 3s (it's now 25% down from March 2026 price). DJI also did this tactic for NEO 1, Mini 4pro and Pocket 3 before the announcement of their successor models. I wonder if AIR 4 is going to be announced before September?
I've been a Travel Youtuber for 2 years now, and it's the first time I tested their new Background 'Erase Song' feature. It's amazing how AI is able to completely delete the background music while also retaining the original ambient noise and our voice. I'm so amazed I have to share it here, it indeed does reduce the amount of time of re-editing a video due to background copyrighted music.
Silent POV Travel video (Full-faceless Silent walktour travel vlog)
Casual Vlogging (Traditional format vlogging/showing face with background convo)
A combination of POV and Casual Vlogging (A combination of Walktour with background conversation/casual vlogging)
The reason why I'm asking this because I changed the format of my Travel Channel in late-2025 from Silent Walktour Vlogs to Semi-faceless Walktour with Casual background commentary. The reason for the change is I didn't want my channel to just simply be Walktour videos, I want my channel to feature the Location, and at the same time express my Live reaction and comments to make it engaging, sometimes I show myself if needed. Since the change, my channel gained more subs and views, but I would like to hear it from your perspective guys since you are Travel vloggers also.
This format is relatively new since a lot of walktour channels are mostly silent type. Most vlogs channels I see are either Full-Silent POV or Full-Casual Vlogging. I haven't seen a travel channel who does both in a balanced way. This format is usually used in "A Day in my Life" type of vlogs and not Travel.
I'm considering Lito X1 as a secondary drone for my production, the D-LOG feature and 4k60fps are indeed interesting. However since it's a newly released drone, is there already a good ND Filter set out there for Lito X1? Neewer hasn't released one for the Lito series so I'm curious if there's already another brand out there that sells one.
Anyone here has considered putting a small GPS tracker (like Samsung smart tag) for backup, just in case the drone got lost? I know DJI's Find my drone is really good, but it only works when the battery is still active, while Samsung smart tag can last up to days.
