im gonna pay a shop for full diagnostics but does anyone know what I should look for first? Should I replace the transmission?

What should I look at first? I am gonna have a shop do a full diagnostic test but can anyone with experience with these cars tell me what I should look out for? Should I replace the transmission or engine completely?
