I was on SDI for my maternity but now have a new disability. Any advice appreciated.

Does anyone know why the dr won’t schedule appointments until they have your paperwork sent by Edd? Was recently referred IME by disability but my dr won’t schedule my appointment bc he says he doesn’t have my paperwork.

How does Edd confirm your appointment date? Do they reach out to the dr?

I got an ime letter from Edd, my benefits have completely stopped and when I try to call the dr he says he can’t give me an appointment bc he doesn’t have my paperwork yet. I’m in the Long Beach area is anyone else having this issue? Does anyone know how long out the appointments are for this dr in Long Beach?? My claim is supposed to end August I’m wondering if it’s even worth it at this point
