IBA CS Preparation vs LCAT (LUMS Entry Test) – Is IBA CS Enough for LCAT & Other University Tests?

Assalam o Alaikum everyone, I am currently planning to prepare for the IBA Karachi CS entry test and I want to understand how far this preparation can take me for other university entrance exams in Pakistan. My main question is: 👉 If I prepare for IBA CS level (Math + English + Reasoning), will it also cover the LCAT (LUMS Entry Test) and other similar university entry tests? I am trying to avoid separate preparation courses and want to prepare smartly using one strong foundation. My Understanding IBA CS Entry Test includes: Algebra, functions, trigonometry Matrices, vectors, probability Calculus (limits, derivatives, integrals) Coordinate geometry and conics Strong English + analytical reasoning LCAT (LUMS Entry Test) includes: SAT-style math (basic to intermediate level) English comprehension and grammar Logical reasoning and problem solving Fast-paced MCQs and pattern-based questions My Questions 👉 Is IBA CS preparation enough for LCAT and similar tests? 👉 How much syllabus overlap is there between IBA CS and LCAT? 👉 Do I need separate preparation for LCAT or just practice past papers? 👉 Which areas should I focus on if I want to cover both efficiently? Goal I want to prepare one strong foundation (IBA CS level) that can help me: IBA CS admission IBA BBA admission LCAT (LUMS) Possibly HU TOPS and other university tests So I am looking for honest guidance from seniors or people who have given these exams.

Is IBA CS preparation enough for IBA BBA and HU TOPS?

Assalam o Alaikum everyone, I am planning to apply for multiple universities in Karachi and need expert guidance from seniors or students who have experience with these entry tests: Institute of Business Administration Karachi BBA Entry Test (Main Focus) Institute of Business Administration Karachi BSCS Entry Test (Second Priority) Habib University HU TOPS Test (Backup Option) My Preparation Plan I am thinking of joining an IBA CS preparation batch (like Chaajao or similar academy) and using it as my main preparation source for all three tests. Since CS preparation includes advanced math and strong English, I believe it might also cover BBA and HU TOPS syllabus. My Understanding of the Tests IBA BBA: English (grammar, vocabulary, comprehension) Basic math (percentages, ratios, algebra basics) Logical reasoning Time-based MCQs IBA CS: Same English section (but harder competition) Advanced math (functions, trigonometry, algebra, etc.) Higher difficulty quantitative section HU TOPS: English + math similar to IBA level Essay writing (important difference) Interview round (very important) My Questions 👉 Is IBA CS preparation enough for all three exams (IBA BBA, IBA CS, HU TOPS)? 👉 What is the actual syllabus overlap percentage between these tests? 👉 Since my main focus is IBA BBA, is CS-level preparation overkill or the right strategy? 👉 What extra preparation is required specifically for HU TOPS (essay + interview)? Goal My goal is to prepare smartly using one strong CS-level preparation strategy to cover all three opportunities without wasting time on separate courses. But I want honest advice from seniors or people who have already given these tests. Any guidance would be highly appreciated. Thank you! 🙏

Hello everyone, I need some genuine guidance regarding MBBS admission at Aga Khan University. I have completed my HSSC in Pre-Engineering (Physics, Chemistry, Maths). I am planning to add Biology as an additional subject so I can become eligible for MBBS and MDCAT. My main concern is financial support. I will not be able to pursue MBBS at Aga Khan University without a full scholarship or strong financial assistance. That is my only condition for applying. I have read that AKU offers need-based financial aid and scholarships, and I am really inspired by the vision of the founder that financial issues should not stop deserving students from education. I want to ask: Is it realistic to get full financial aid at AKU MBBS? How competitive is it for students from average financial background? Does Pre-Engineering + Biology make me eligible normally? Any tips for entry test preparation? If anyone has gone through this process or has proper information, please guide me honestly. Thank you in advance.
