finally finished our first reference sheet

might not keep it… but for now I’m very happy with it

Hi! this is a poster I drew up a short while ago, trying to test out the artstyle and draw the main characters in their new designs (our show started as a Minecraft SMP, so the characters had designs for that)

i used lots of sketch references, including pose bases from mellon_soup (tumblr) and we have not yet made proper backgrounds for any scenes, so I had to make it up as I went along

The characters from left to right are - Saiko, Oli, Blaisoo and Peekay
Saiko and Blaisoo are half siblings, and the four characters have a ‘found family‘ dynamic

I hope I’ll be able to release more on them soon but right now the priority is worldbuilding and logistics 😅

should I use thicker, sketchier lines? i feel like I lost everything I loved about the sketch when I added line and colour :[
