Beginner tattoo need to learner

Hi everyone! My girlfriend is a beginner tattoo artist and did these piece freehand on fake skin (no stencil).

We tried using a stencil first, but the transfer cream we applied beforehand ended up removing/smudging it, so she ended up drawing it directly by hand instead.

We'd really appreciate any feedback on beginner mistakes you can spot line consistency, needle depth/pressure, shading, anything that stands out to more experienced eyes.

Also open to tips on stencil application in general, since that's clearly something we need to figure out (any product recommendations or step-by-step tips for beginners welcome!).

And when is the right moment to try a small thing in the skin?

Thanks so much in advance 🙏

How can I bridge the gap between my render and this concept image?

Hi everyone!

I'm creating the opening cinematic for my educational adventure game, and this classroom is one of the main environments. I'd love to get some feedback from experienced environment artists.

The first image is my current Blender render, and the second is an AI-generated image that I'm using purely as a visual reference for the mood and atmosphere I'm aiming for.

I'm not trying to recreate it exactly. Instead, I'm trying to understand what makes it feel richer and more cinematic, and how I can achieve a similar quality using Blender.

I'd especially appreciate feedback on:

  • Lighting and color (I feel like my lighting is currently the weakest part, but I’m not sure how to push it further in a good direction)
  • Materials and textures
  • Composition
  • Props and environmental storytelling
  • Camera and framing
  • Anything else that stands out

If this were your scene, what would be the first things you'd change to push it to the next level?

Thanks! I'd really appreciate any honest critique.

Made this beach this morning, but I think I'm still not good enough Any advice ?

I really like creating environments in a blender. It's so much fun ! (~ ̄▽ ̄)~
But the problem is that I have a pretty bad computer and I want to improve, so I was looking for if you could give me some advice ?

I've got some several renders that I made here. The one at the beach is the last one I made. I tried something more clear bc on the other ones I made I don't think we can clearly see what is going on.

For what I've observed myself, I lack details. For example, in the second one we really see how flat the environment is, so in the last one I made, I tried adding more stuff like the cables, but is that really enough ?

(the order of my artworks are in reverse of when I made them, starting from the last one I made)

(these arn't all of the ones I've done but I though it was the most interesting ones to reflect on)

I want to be able to make commissions for people to upgrade my PC because this takes way too much time for what I want. Plus, having someone trusting you trust you to give you money can be a proof that the work you have done is high enough quality that what you did is pretty decent and I feel proud of myself for all the time I spent learning 3D (*^▽^*) (bc I really don't want to use social media it will just be demoralizing and it's not my thing ̄へ ̄) or am I kinda wrong in how I'm thinking about this ?

Newbie Art Challenge - Day #6

Noticing a lot starting art, so i decided to give it a try. I want to share my journey and experience with it so far. This time I wanted to try Countryballs, something easy to draw again. Btw, this is actually a thumbnail used that someone used, so any thoughts are appreciated! A bit more effort this time.

Looking for advice and critique on anatomy, lighting and design

I decided to give redesigning an old character design I did a few years.

I'm looking for a critique on the new design. I tried to focus on anatomy and lighting, plus I think the general design has improved .

I have added the original design for context

How do I draw more like them?

Hello hello. I have been drawing and I find that my art feels really boring. I always had a strong inspiration from this artist and I would like to adapt their abilities when they draw and construct a piece. I was hoping to get some advice and some feedback on how I can draw more like them and learn to be more expressive with my art. Artist is Loserpotato on Twt. And the last drawing an example of my latest piece. I wanna learn how to construct my art like them and add way more elements.

I draw primarily in roblox, so do you believe I can do it in roblox or should I switch to a real drawing app? 🤔

Overall I would like sone critique of my art in general and what I should improve overall. Thank you so much!

I need help on how to recreate this on digital art correctly

Hi everyone! Those who know ibisPaint x app well I need your advice

I want this drawing to give “comfort, cosy” vibes and pencil painted like. What brush should I use?

Second, I want room to be dark (bc it’s late at night) and lightened by the window. How can I achieve this effect of a “shining” window by just painting?

Please guys, I’m just a beginner and any valuable advice would greatly benefit me

practicing color and facial structures. Tips?

Hi everyone!
I’ve been practicing painting without a reference, to be able to understand how lights and colors work on organic things like humans, animals but
I’m really struggling with his eyes and eyebrows/forhead so I was wondering if you had any tips!
I’d like to give him an angry/sad look and strong features but yeah it always seems flat when I try to

I feel like every time I draw men, they look not as masculine as I want, even when I use references. Is there anything I can do to improve? My anatomy isn't the best so please be nice.
