Coloring the face like a pro?

Trying to make a more 3d looking nose by using some of the techniques I’ve seen comic artists use. I used screen for highlights, multiply for shades, blending in and blurring differing colors on different parts of the nose and faces

I feel like I’ve added too much but I’m not sure what exactly I need to pull back on. It took a long while too.

How can i improve my art?

Yes yes believe me i know it doesn’t look great. i started drawing like 2 days ago lol and yes i used a base:(. how can i improve ? pls leave youtube or tiktok links, or app suggestions. i wanna learn to shade properly and how to draw on my own. using a base is a good crutch but i feel so unaccomplished afterwards, like all i did was trace and just put hair, i want them to be MY characters, i don’t recognize these two. also i dont know how to keep the outline from looking messy, how do i get fine straight lines? the apps ive used are IBIS paint and youdoodle

Learning anatomy how to draw figures more realistically?

Hii i would appreciate some feedback on these sketches. Im self taught so I'd like to know if my sketches are good enough for me to be able to add anatomy as one of the basics I've understood , (still a beginner though i understand that ) . Also, how to make my art both realistic and less "stiff" :)))

color help, how to make less muddy, and how to better define the tail, or rather make it seem less clunky

My human Ocs are boring

My main Ocs lookwise are just normal teenagers in a school, I don't know how to make them unique. (Sorry I don't have any pictures on my laptop.) I tried using hair colors and color pallettes but they don't feel like a cohesive character. A lot of the unique Ocs I see aren't realistic for my setting, and I don't know how to make them recognizable. Like Zeyn Syre's characters, yk? Help! Any advice?

I need opinions.

The local museum is hosting an Art Gallery. My school decided to take part in it. The theme is roots and old times like what they used to communicate and how they lived their life. I made drawing of my family. I made it messy and unperfect (even though thats not my style) because I wanted to symbolise how not every family is perfect but still I wanted to capture the light and joy of love. I made it look like a kids drawing because in the drawing (almost) everyone is symbolised as kids. And now looking at it, I'm wondering what emotions do others feel looking at it. It's very dark, very old timey and it captures my culture pretty well. For me it has a really deep meaning. it's not the best or the prettiest drawing because I am looking for emotions , not perfection. Even though it's hard. Thank you for taking your time reading this and thinking about it, I appreciate it!

Hi, I haven't drawn in a while and I wanted to get back to it but I don't have any idea of what to draw, so I decided that maybe I should ask you people to help me make a list of 31 things to draw, one for each day :]
