Maul's potential was nuts

I keep looking back and thinking about this fight, that Maul is maybe a top 15 to top 10 duelist in Canon. Him being surprisingly Obi Wan like in his implementation in Soresu and Anakin like in his aggressive offense, like a lesser combo of the 2.

I feel like Maul doesn't get the credit he deserves because of his arrogance giving him L's against people he shouldn't lose to. Makes me think he might actually get more wins if he turned toward the light, ending up trying to be more sagecoded like QuiGon but insanely skilled.

He'd probably be over:

Ventress Grievous Dooku (bad matchup for Dooku maybe) Most council members

But below: Anakin Mace Sidious Yoda

Since we're getting reinventing rogues left and right,Imma try Mad Hatter.

The good doctor Jervis Tetch,a profound employee for JK industries, full of whimsy and loving classic literate, emphasized a comical bowler hat his Father had worn.

But like life and literature,it all has to end...JK,luckily JK industries stepped in.

Preservation of life was a big goal for JK,as was for Dr.Tetch who focused on digitization of consciousness.

But that's no small feat, the mind knows when it's being placed in a falsehood copying reality, and it violently rejects it? But what if it wasn't reality? What if it was the kinder fantasy or a bed time story? A wonderland to soothe the mind?

And instead of trying to force a fleshly mind into a metal shell, you gave it a new human home?

Placed in an "inconspicuous" form,Dr.Tetch could serve till heat death in his father's hat. Now he just needed a body, maybe can Gotham give him a hand....
