I’ve got a 223 Chinese AK machine gun that I had previously sent in to an AK smith to have a bunch of work done (Zenitco accessories, KNS gas piston, Surefire mount, mag well fitting, etc) but it was just never reliable. Kept jamming up on me. Sent it back to the smith and they said it was flawless after firing a lot of rounds through it and sent it back. Well in my first range outing, the gun quickly locked up again. Looks like the firing pin retainer pin worked itself out and I’ll need a new one. Never got the chance to remedy this situation as I then had to move to a new location where I couldn’t bring my AK.

Even when the gun worked, it was by far my least accurate AK. Would it be easy to swap the barrel, bolt carrier, and bolt out to new 556 parts? If so, any AK smith recommendations?

Looking for an aesthetic grinder to pair with a Micra. I initially thought about going with the Niche Zero but was told there are better grinder options now. Would appreciate some suggestions!

I’m thinking a white grinder to pair with a white Micra. But if I get the new crema color Micra, it’d be nice if the grinder could be disassembled easily for powder coating to match.

I’ll be visiting Japan and have been contemplating getting a Porter Tanker bag. Browsing the website, there seems to be several similar offerings between the Tanker sling bag, hip bag, and fanny pack. For all of them, it seems to be demonstrated as being worn cross body and not at all around the waist for the hip bag or fanny pack.

Any chance I could get feedback and or advice on which one to get? I haven’t owned a nylon bag before and wondering how comfortable the bag would be once it has a decent loadout in it.
