Four Seasons Private Residences Telluride Site Visit

I got in the mail this nice, hardcover book advertising the Four Seasons Private Residences in Telluride. I have no idea why I was targeted—I’m a junior attorney and make plenty for my needs, but I live in a 2-bedroom condo and am hardly in the market for a Telluride house. (Also, I haven’t been skiing in years.)

This came with a note saying they would be “delighted to host me for a private visit.” I would be delighted to accept a free vacation to Telluride, if someone is offering.

Does anybody know anything about this? Does “hosting for a private visit” mean a free trip?

Whole Foods Specialty Bag - $9.99

About $50 worth of cheese, plus a completely unnecessary bag of crackers to eat it on.

The Parmesan Reggiano has a best by date on about a week, but I assume it’ll keep fine in the fridge, right? It’s been aged 24 months already…

Taking Heat for Senior Associate’s Mistake?

Third-year associate, working on a case team with a partner and a fifth-year. Partner at one point sends an email saying to draft a motion and auxiliary documents in a particular way. Fifth-year drafts his part of the documents in the opposite way, I mention to him that I think partner wanted it done other way, fifth-year tells me to ask partner about it in my next email. I ask, and partner writes back sort of aggressively, saying “I thought we planned to do it X way,” with his earlier email attached.

What am I supposed to do in this situation? Should I, in my initial email, have said “Fifth-year asked me to ask you if we should do this X way?” Seems stupid to have to take my time (at $1,000/hr) pointing fingers internally, but it’s my first time working with this partner and I don’t want to get a bad rep.
