What laptop should I get as a first year university student? (Under CAD$1,300)

Im doing finance, hoping to do business in a year or two.

I don't know what i need, but i want it to be fast, small enough that its portable and big enough to actually use it, also hoping it to be built like a MacBook (aluminum)

My high school laptop is Dell Latitude 7480, the size is perfect, its a 14" screen but the big bezel makes it bigger.

My first option was the new Dell XPS 13 but from what I heard its a decent laptop but im paying more for the aesthetics, plus from the reviews I've watched it looks too small for me. ($1,259.99 total with student discount)

512gb, 16gb

2nd options was Asus Zenbook A14. Great laptop, looks like the best size for me, lightweight. Reviews aren't the best and they said the only good thing is its lightweight and good battery, also has ARM processor which has mixed opinions. ($1,099 + taxes and fees on sale) 1tb, 16gb

3rd is the lenovo yoga 7i. This is over my budget but want to know your guys opinion. ($1,399+ taxes and fees on sale too) 512gb, 16gb

4th one is haven't done much researchLenovo IdeaPad Slim 5i Ultra.

I'm leaning towards the Zenbook A14 but I'm not sure about the snapdragon processor.

Let me know what you guys think would be the better option or if you have any other recommendations. Thanks

What "first" car would be good/okay with me (going into university)

I'm about to head out to university and can't use my dad's truck anymore (22' Colorado). I've been looking for a car for about 2 months now. Found a decent car (20' Optima), had problems with the dealership... won't get into much details...

Obviously I would want a "fun" car. Old people would say to get a cheap, slow, old car, from fb marketplace as a first car. But I've been driving my dads truck for 3 years now. Would like if the performance is around that.

These are what I've found in my province so far. (Not in order)

2023 Kia Forte EX $20,221 ($19,300 after discount, this dealership was the one that had problems with the optima so they gave me a huge discount. It has 74,300 km (It's a certified pre owned, comes with 6yrs/120k km powertrain warranty)

2018 Chevrolet Malibu LT (this is from the same dealership so I might get some good discounts on it...

93,421 km

$16,590

2018 Chevrolet Malibu Premier (different dealership, trying to get it down closer to $19k

51,693 km

$19,890

And i have 2 2018 Hyundai Sonata on my list but idk if they're worth it putting here.

The smartest choice would Obviously be the 2023? Its certified, extended warranty, good discounts, etc. But would that really be a fun car? (I HAVEN'T TESTED ANY CARS YET, BUT I WILL IN A WEEK JUST WANT Y'ALL OPINION)

TL;DR: "First" car for someone going into university in canada, and wants a good car, NOT A BORING ONE.
