Looking to get started with this procedure and would appreciate recommendations, preferably in the Dallas-Forth Worth area. Reasonably fine with traveling. Would love to keep the total budget under $7000, but I’m flexible.

Long-time northern DFW burbs resident (23M) here looking for some advice. I‘m currently based in Richardson and commute to Dallas near UTSW for work (35-50 minutes one-way).

I recently got a job offer based in Midlothian and I need some input on commute times and general advice about the area.

Has anyone lived/commuted to Midlothian? How is traffic compared to North Dallas, and what’s the vibe of the city itself? Would areas like Design District/Bishop Arts have a manageable commute?

For more information about my situation:

• Role is 50-75% travel after the initial onboarding period, vicinity to airports is nice
• Budget for rent is flexible, looking to spend up to ~$1,750
• Hobbies include road biking, bouldering, and tennis (basic, ik)
