Is there hope for this nail??
so I work at a barn and was filling a hard plastic hay feeder that has a screw top lid. I was reaching inside and my pinky nail got caught in the edge and hurt so bad I silently cried and almost cursed a bloodline in the process. Could barely bend it that day and ANY touch hurt, that was Friday.
come Sunday am it was oozing a yellow/green pus from under the nail and a clear bubbly liquid. promptly went to urgent care and they prescribed antibiotics + some cream rx for under my nail.
MIND YOU I have acrylics on so I can’t easily see the nail bed rn.
okay so it’s Tuesday evening and this is how my nail moves with light pressure upwards, showed other nails just for reference and yes my hands dirty and yes my nails need to be redone I’m working on it
is the next step getting acetone and soaking off the acrylic? and cutting my natural nail down? PLEASEEEE I DONT WANT TO LOSE MY NAIL IM SCARED
