If an apprentice self admits himself to alcohol rehab hospital facility for a month will that kill his apprentice? How will they look upon his voluntary leave of absence? Is he employable when he completes the alcohol recovery program at the hospital ? I’m wanting to help a friend I’m driving him to facility tomm. Thankyou

I received a letter so technical I’m trying to understand it . I have 11 years of uninterrupted federal employment , it’s qualified . Letter says I have like 110 qualifying payments on the 7 loans I have . Letter seems to be saying I need to consolidate ? But when I started the process the fine print of this consolidation requests says a payments made prior to consolidation won’t count towards PSLF ? I stopped and did not finish the consolidation request as I’m confused .
Does anyone know what I need to do ? I did request a buyback in April 2025 but no word yet on that …
Do I need to consolidate ? Or not and just wait for buyback ? If I consolidate my payments would jump to $450 they are now $225.

My 27 year old daughter has been inpatient rehab 3 times always left early after detoxing . She has relapsed 3 x in past 2 months . We told her next time she drinks she can’t live in our house . We set up a bed in our garage . She can come inside to shower eat and use the bathroom.
She works long hours and has been compliant not complaining about sleeping In The garage . It’s been a week so far.
Are we being mean? We felt she needed consequences something tohelp stop all these relapses . She works so much there’s little time for AA although she does go 1 or 2 x a week .
Any thoughts ? Wondering if she is should let her back in the house or no ? Our nervous system is stretched and honestly not having her in the house gives us some peace.
