Braces and facial trauma

Hi so I fell face first on the ground im 6 months into braces treatment, have had 2 upper premolar extractions for my overbite, my upper quadrant was only affected. My central incisor and lateral incisor in my left were severely impacted and have chipped not to the pulp though just at the edge. My right central incisor also has an edge chip. My left central insider has been pushed back its not loose or anything but it back and is no longer connected to my braces arch wire. I don't have a dentist appointment up until this Thursday. I went to see an emergency dentist who did do an x-ray and prescribed me antibiotics, multi vitamins and medication for the swelling but has said I should visit my primary ortho but he isnt available up until Thursday like i mentioned. I am actually crashing out i have 2 exams this week and don't know what to do. Please help, any advice is appreciated.

SKIN1004 Madagascar Centella Hyalu-Cica Water-Fit Sun Serum SPF 50+ PA++++

Hello, this is my first review here. I recently finished a bottle of SKIN1004 Madagascar Centella Hyalu-Cica Water-Fit Sun Serum SPF 50+ PA++++, which lasted me about six months with fairly consistent use.

I have sensitive, acne-prone skin that can swing between normal-oily and normal-dry depending on the day. I’m also using Epiduo.

Overall rating: 8/10

This sunscreen is acne-safe and fungal-acne safe (at least in my experience), and it doesn’t pill, which is a huge plus. It genuinely worked really well for me, no breakouts, no compatibility issues, and it layers beautifully. When my skin barrier was compromised from Epiduo, it could sting slightly around the eyes, but otherwise it stayed comfortable. On drier days, I only needed a moisturizer underneath.

It also sits really nicely under makeup.

My main issue is the finish. It is very shinylike, “did I just dip my face in oil?” shiny. Even though I’m medium to fairr with cool undertones (think Casper the Ghost if he was a baddie who used bronzing drops 💅🏻) I usually don’t deal with much of a cast. But with this sunscreen, the shine sometimes created the illusion of a whitecast, which would fade after a couple of hours. Still, it was pretty annoying in the moment. It definitely gives a strong dewy finish, but in my opinion it leans more oily than glowy.

The texture, though, is excellent and oh so lovelyyy: very serum-like, almost like a lightweight lotion. It feels slightly oily at first but settles into a silky, barely-there layer on the skin.

Overall, it’s a really solid product and I do like it a lot. I might repurchase, but only if I find a good setting powder that can properly control the shine for my skin type.

Best for: people who love a very intense dewy/oily finish, or anyone who has a good powder that can keep oiliness in check.

‼️9702 p41 prematurely available‼️

It’s true that it was available 3 hours before the exam in a weird format, but it was still available nonetheless. Honestly, please report it. It’s much better to resit one component you’ve already studied for than end up with a bad grade. Don’t fall for the ‘don’t report it’ propaganda, please.

Hi everyone this is my first post here. I’ve been thinking about posting for a while, but my experiences on other subreddits made me hesitant because I felt judged more than helped. After seeing how positive and supportive this community is, I decided to give it a shot.

I have mild ADHD, and one of the areas it really affects is my skin. I struggle with picking at it constantly it’s honestly driving me up the wall. I get this strong urge to “smooth” everything out. I don’t really have acne, but more uneven skin texture that gets worse with stress and academic pressure. The problem is, my skin is very sensitive, so even small picking turns into scab and you can imagine how that goes.

I’ve tried a lot of things. Pimple patches help a bit, but they’re not practical for every area. Covering my fingers with bandages feels unbearable sensory-wise, and having greasy hands from moisturizer makes it hard to function or get work done. I’m feeling really stuck and frustrated at this point.

If anyone has advice or things that have worked for them, I’d really appreciate it. Thank you so much.
