So I was randomly gifted a Kindle Scribe for Christmas a couple years ago after not knowing much about kindles & never really being interested in an e-reader (I figured I could always use the app my phone).

Now that I’m reading more, I love my kindle! It’s great for when I’m at work (especially with the notebook features). However, reading with it in bed & for leisure can be quite uncomfortable after a while due to its size/weight.

I am considering buying a regular kindle to use when I’m in bed/lounging or need something smaller on the go. Only thing is I’m having some guilt about the Scribe. It was a gift and when I did some research on it I saw how EXPENSIVE it is. I’m worried if I get the smaller size I won’t use the Scribe as much? And I’d hate that for how pricey it was for my partner to gift it to me. It’s not like it’s that big of a deal that it isn’t the comfiest to hold…

Is it over dramatic for me to get another kindle on top of having the Scribe? Part of me is telling myself it’s a waste of money and just use what you have that’s perfectly functional. Part of me wants to treat myself but is feeling guilty. What are your opinions? TIA!
