Trying to stay true to the age group; first fan casting for ACOTAR

In order of the photos:

Elain — Lily Stewart (@lilyystewart)
Feyre — Florence Hunt
Nesta — Ella Rubin
Cassian — Belmont Cameli
Azriel — Félix Mallard
Amren — Jessica Henwick
Amarantha — Madelaine Petsch
Mor — Madelyn Cline
Tamlin — Nicholas Galitzine
Ianthe — Sydney Sweeney
Tarquin — Toni Mahfud
Lucien — Vito Basso
Rhys — still looking

The cast needs to be young as the books say that Feyre starts at 19 and her sisters are slightly older than her. Also all the main Fye are described as looking around her to her sisters' ages. I also took in consideration of how much the sisters would actually look related. I additionally took in consideration that Mor and Rhys are cousins and would also have to look somewhat alike. Elain is always highlighted as the softest, most feminine one of the sisters and Nesta is noted as regal and striking. Mor has been noted to have upward slanting eyes and a sharp chin with a small frame and black hair. Ianthe was noted to be visually alluring with her exaggerated female features, Amarantha stayed under the mountain and was noted to have red hair. She also grew up with Tamlin so she needs to look the same age as he.

Please note colour contacts and some wings would adjust some of the listed; example the casting for Tamlin looked just like He-Man in the movie but does not have blonde hair.

Additionally, I did try to not just do a star-studded cast, but rather people who really look like the characters in my mind.

Ella Rubin as Feyra ❤️

Never seen much of her before but seeing her in Sterling Point totally gives me Feyre vibes.

Bridget Regan as Amarantha

I know some may think she’s too old, as I have said this before BUT I still think she has the look. I’ve seen her in quite a few roles and she killed Monica Stevens. She’s also scary as shit, which helps a ton.

Sadie Sink as Feyre

I always have felt like Sadie would make such a good Feyre and these recent photos solidified that for me. I also feel like she tends to play strong, resilient female characters really well which further adds to my belief that she would be a perfect casting for Feyre.

Riley Keough as Amarantha

I feel like Riley has the perfect look to play Amarantha. She’s beautiful and regal with just the right amount of intimidating if that makes any sense.

dichen lachman as amren.... chefs kiss

I've always pictured her as amren, she would do such a good job portraying her. Anyone who has seen her act would agree that she can pull off amren so well

carice van houten as amarantha

I know people might have already said this one.... It just makes so much sense. She did melisandre so well in GoT, plus she fits the look of amarantha to a T. I'm not too familiar with her acting but from what I saw from her in GoT she definitely has the potential of amarantha, she'd just have to master the "evil b*tch" effect a little more.

You know who this is.

Granted I didn’t picture Cassian with any facial hair and would prefer none just me tho.

Archeron Sisters

Feyre - Willa Fitzgerald (1-4)
Nesta - Yvonne Strahovski (5-8)
Elain - Gabriella Wilde (9-10)

After watching Serena in A Handmaid’s Tale, I could only see Nesta as her actress, and then I realised she looked really similar to Willa Fitzgerald (girl next door in Scream, bad bitch in Dare Me) and they might make great sisters.
Gabriella Wilde (Endless Love) is just unbelievably sweet and beautiful.

The only Feyre fancast ever

Feyre possesses blue-grey eyes, full lips, a pert pretty nose, sharp cheekbones, and a slim yet athletic build. Characters like Rhysand, Cassian, Tamlin, Lucien, Nesta, and Bryce describe her appearance as ‘lovely,’ ‘exquisite’, ‘radiant’, ‘beautiful,’ and ‘positively fae’ whilst human. Mor says she looks every bit a ‘princess of night,’ and Cassian compares her to a ‘glowing goddess of old.’ Barbara Palvin captures this ethereal yet timeless beauty perfectly.

Why I think ACOTAR should explore a direct-to-listener audiodrama and then a film/TV show adaptation

It looks like Sarah J Maas has the rights to ACOTAR back and I think she should explore the direct-to-listener format for this title: https://parade.com/books/sarah-j-maas-has-a-disappointing-update-about-the-acotar-adaptation

There are already audiobooks and full cast audiodramas out there. I'm hearing of more audiodramas go direct-to-listener or set as a roleplay audio to have the listener immersed in the story. I really think people want to be a part of the world that she built and it's why people gravitate to the story in the first place. I mean who doesn't want to be Feyre?!

For the on screen adaptation, it seems that she wanted full creative freedom and control of the project (which totally makes sense for her as an author and for her fans). Perhaps part of it was trying to budget for a huge fantasy project... which means big bucks OR maybe it was just too complicated and long of a process to get it officially off the greenlit pipeline and into actual production.

She can still explore the fantasy elements of the story, have listeners engage and be a part of the world without sacrificing the quality or parts of the story that really matter. Thoughts?

Side note though: who should they cast to voice Tamlin? :)
