Nesta as Jessica Alexander — this is a popular one, and rightly so in my opinion. Nesta’s beauty is described as ‘devastating’ and ‘unnerving’ in the books. I think Jessica has that icy cold exterior, but also iconic looking enough that you want to root for her. Not to mention, her and my Feyre fancast (Lauren de Graaf) look like they could play sisters, and as Feyre and Nesta look near identical in the books I’d love to see it reflected in an adaptation. Specifically those two, since I think them looking alike adds to their angsty conflicting dynamic.
Feyre as Lauren de Graaf, what do you think? Feyre is described as physically “lovely,” “radiant,” and “exquisite” even as a human Tamlin and Lucien are impressed by her beauty. But her character can be alluring when she wants to be — I think Lauren perfectly encapsulates that sort of beauty. The pictures are also sooooo High Lady material

Feyre possesses blue-grey eyes, full lips, a pert pretty nose, sharp cheekbones, and a slim yet athletic build. Characters like Rhysand, Cassian, Tamlin, Lucien, Nesta, and Bryce describe her appearance as ‘lovely,’ ‘exquisite’, ‘radiant’, ‘beautiful,’ and ‘positively fae’ whilst human. Mor says she looks every bit a ‘princess of night,’ and Cassian compares her to a ‘glowing goddess of old.’ Barbara Palvin captures this ethereal yet timeless beauty perfectly.
Hey guys x I’m not a Tamlin Stan at all, in fact I enjoy Feyre and Rhysand’s characters the most, so the opposite end of the spectrum lol 😂 but wanted to ask if his fans consider him being Sjms next victim? I don’t hate him though so I don’t WANT him to die, but I can really vividly see her making him much more likeable to the majority of the fandom RIGHT before she kills him off. I can see her building up a redemption arc (please don’t pin point this phrase and argue with me for using it, I know some think he has nothing to ‘redeem’ himself for, or maybe he alr did when he helped revive Rhys, I’m not sure I’ll make up my mind on that when I reread,) or a healing arc or WHATEVER that’ll extinguish most hate a lot of readers have towards him, then kill him for emotional impact. Because she’s put her precious feysand on the chopping board far too many times, and i don’t think she has the guts to go for one of the IC. She definitely teased Cassian dying with Elain saying in acowar ‘No it won’t take more than that to kill you,’ then chickened out in ACOSF with Nesta saving him from Briallyn when he was ‘ABOUT’ to die 🙄. I don’t think she’ll chicken out with Tamlin. I can just really see people making posts like ‘omg right when I started liking Tamlin he died’ or ‘why did I actually cry at Tamlin’s death’. And I think it’d be interesting to write about Feyre’s reaction, since she once loved him so intensely she died for him. And also, I think when a high lord dies the position is occupied by its strongest next kin instead of the firstborn, (e.g The previous summer high lord was Tarquins cousin) she could write Lucien taking his place as former emissary? Which would be interesting since he’s heir to day, but I’m spiralling.
Anyway, let me know your thoughts on who you think she’s killing, if she even kills anyone. I feel like I should post this in case it does happen and I can say ‘I knew this was gonna happen.’
This is Natalia Vodianova, Russian model. She’s still gorgeous but too old now to play any of the sisters (nor does she act 😭) so I tagged this as a faceclaim not fancast.
She somehow manages to capture all three really well in my opinion, perks of choosing a model since they all have varied looks. She has that ethereal kind of beauty that sjm describes Feyre with, using words like ‘lovely’ or ‘positively fae’. But can also capture Nesta’s intimidating beauty — who sjm deserves as ‘unnerving’ or ‘devastating.’ But I think she captures Elain best personally, despite lacking the big brown eyes, her face is so soft and gentle, she has a very timeless, classic, non instagram face beauty that can matches Elain’s description as ‘infinitely beautiful.’ All three sisters have golden brown hair, a ‘pert, pretty nose’, and full lips. So I couldn’t pass her up but struggled picking a solid sister to assign her as because as I said she has so many varied looks! Lmk what you guys think x
I know Mor and Elain have brown eyes but I couldn’t be too picky 😭 I struggled a bit with Elain so I put two that I couldn’t decide between (plus I don’t think Bridget does runway). Also I am NOT BUDGING on Feyre and Nesta they are perfection I won’t hear it 😂
I based these off of canon descriptions of their appearances I noted in the books.
I saw a post on the rant sub with people seemingly outraged by this and I’m so surprised she’s getting slammed on for saying this because it’s as clear to me as the sky is blue that Feyre is on par with both of the warriors for tracking IF NOT better.
Feyre is a literal SHAPESHIFTER. When tracking down Rhys in ACOMAF she shifts her eyes into that of a wolf to find him quicker. This alone genuinely puts her miles ahead of both of them, if anyone is alone with her in the woods it’s wraps. She can turn into a damn bird one second to gain high ground, a snake to silently attack, a big cat to heighten her senses and the list goes on and on.😭 Even though she is already high fae with enhanced senses (higher than that of regular High Fae, as confirmed by Rhys after bearing the blow of her shoe, suggesting her strength speed etc is High Lord level)
Not to mention her ability to track down things infused with the magic of the High Lords, yet another ability that neither Cassian nor Azriel possess, making her just as useful. And they knew this, hence why they agreed with bringing her along and didn’t argue with this statement, unlike some readers. But she’s more powerful than both of them OF COURSE she’s just as good as tracking.
Plus Tamlin being shocked that she ensnared the Suriel, this particular feat being rumoured amongst people of Prythian because it’s that impressive, which is how Rhys heard of it and admitted he tried twice and failed.

Barbara Palvin (girl on the left in the first slide) as Feyre, and Cara Delvingne (girl on the right in first slide) as Nesta. I love these two as face claims and they would’ve been perfect in my opinion. I think the could definitely play sisters as they have pretty similar eyes, and Feyre and Nesta canonically have identical eyes and look VERY alike — to the point where Feyre says if she looked in the mirror she could sometimes see Nesta staring back at her.
I think Cara possesses that intimidating beauty that Nesta has, as her face is described to be ‘unnervingly perfect.‘ and Barbara also has that soft but also fierce, ethereal look — as Feyre is described to look ‘positively fae’ while human, and ‘lovely’ while fae.
I think most of the fandom love Barbara as Feyre (at least the fandom on TikTok) but I think Cara as Nesta is great too, the fact that they look alike to me is the cherry on top
edit omg I didn’t know cara genuinely did acting - and not that great from the sounds of things, I liked her voice acting in gta5 and assumed the talent transferred over but apparently not lol
This has to take the cake for me. Nesta and Feyre’s relationship is so so so beautiful, reading this for the first time was truly heart melting, under all that resentment and hurt from their childhood the love these sisters have for each other still manages to shine through. You can see it early on when Nesta admits to searching for Feyre, Feyre clocking Rhys with “My sisters not some feral animal,” even as Nesta once called her a ‘savage half wild beast’ or something like that 🥹 And a close second being the “You told me to run.” “You’re my sister.”
